The American Future Fund believes in our nation's capitalist and free market economic system. The American Future Fund believes that all Americans should be empowered to have the same opportunities to participate in our economic system and be able to achieve success.
EDUCATION
The American Future Fund believes that all children in America should have access to a high quality education. The American Future Fund believes that parents should be empowered to make the best educational choices for their children. Further, the American Future Fund believes that schools need to be open to reform in order to ensure each and every American student receives a world class education. As well, the American Future Fund believes that a strong educational system should be encouraged at every level that is affordable and accessible for all Americans regardless of race, ethnicity, sex, or economic background.
ENERGY
The American Future Fund believes that it is in the best interest of the United States of America to have a robust domestic energy security program. This program should include exploration, renewable forms of energy, and alternative forms of energy. The American Future Fund believes that the United States should embrace a bold national energy plan that will set America on a path toward overall energy independence.
JUDGES
The American Future Fund believes that conservative judges should be nominated and confirmed that will not legislate from the bench. The American Future Fund believes judges should be nominated based on their ability to demonstrate respect for the democratic process and the Constitution of the United States. It is the desire of the American Future Fund to educate citizens on the effects of judicial activism.
HEALTHCARE
The American Future Fund believes that all Americans should have access to affordable health care. As well, the American Future Fund believes that individuals should be given greater responsibility over their own health care decisions. The American Future Fund maintains that the best healthcare is market based, not government controlled. Lastly, the American Future Fund believes that health wellness efforts and programs should be encouraged to promote healthier lifestyles.
NATIONAL DEFENSE & NATIONAL SECURITY
The American Future Fund believes in a strong national defense and national security program. As such, the American Future Fund will educate Americans about the threats the nation faces abroad, as well as from terrorists. The American Future Fund also believes that the men and women that fight to protect freedom should receive the best equipment, training and be rewarded with good salaries and benefits for their sacrifices made on behalf of the people of this country.
TAXES
The American Future Fund believes that the United States should have low tax rates to encourage savings and investment. As such, the American Future Fund will educate Americans about the positive effects of low taxes, and the negative impact of high taxes on the national economy. The American Future Fund also believes that governments at every level should live within their means and produce balanced budgets.
TRANSPORTATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE
The American Future Fund believes that the United States should have a strong national highway and general transportation system. This national transportation system is vital to the nations economic well being with the transport of commerce. As well, the transportation system must be safe for each and every American to travel. The American Future Fund supports efforts that strengthen the security, safety and ease of travel for Americans.
