Press ReleaseApril 28, 2008 American Future Fund Releases Louisiana Poll Findings Des Moines, Iowa – Today the American Future Fund released the findings of an issues survey recently taken in the state of Louisiana. The poll, conducted by Voter/Consumer Research from April 15-21, surveyed 515 Louisiana residents. The margin of error is +/- 4.9%. (See poll findings below.) Pollster Jan van Lohuizen said, “The survey clearly illustrates that Louisianans are most concerned about jobs and the economy. When combined with concerns about taxes, economic issues are far and away the most salient to the people of Louisiana. It is safe to say that economic issues will be pre-eminent in their minds in the coming weeks and months. The data also clearly indicates that there is great concern over the direction of the national economy.” van Lohuizen continued, “Tax policy is a hot issue in Congress and is going to be a much-debated issue in the future. The survey points to a clear and convincing distrust of liberals in Congress on tax policy.” AFF President Nicole Schlinger said, “Liberal issues groups are already littering the debate with an economic agenda that is viewed negatively by the American people. The American Future Fund will promote conservative, free market ideas, and communicate them to the public.” For further information, please check www.AmericanFutureFund.com.
